i was born in savannah, ga. i live in statesboro, ga. which is about 50 miles west of savannah

love this website. a great tribute to the movie, and the stars. also, a much needed tribute to the south. i saw the movie for the first time when i was 12 yrs. old at the movie theatre. my daddy took me. i remember the movie was so long we had intermission. i was disappointed that we had to wait for the second half of the movie. i was and still am in love with clark gable. he was about 40 yrs. old when he made the movie but boy was he sexy!!!!

i adore gone with the wind ,it is my absolute favorite movie ever ,my grandmother was waiting in line to receive Margeret Mitchell's book . she got it and read every night she lent it to her friend and died before she got it back. she loved the movie when it came out but regretly i didn"t get to share my experienceof the movie with her because she died before i got an opportunity to watch it but i know she is share with me in heaven.

i love gone with the wind (the book) it's really a great story. and i could fall in love with Rhett. the thing is, have u read the sequel? it's called "Scarlett", by Alexandra Ripley. it's really good too. exactly the same style, same Scarlett (although Scarlett changes a bit around the middle end). well bye!
