I have to correct my own message. My dad's military Personal Flight Information sheets indicate that he was flying C-54's from R/M-Berlin-R/M, or R/M-Temp-R/M in each of the 7 months he was there. I never realized he was in the C-54, even as a co-pilot.

I am applying for a correction to his records to indicate that he is eligable for the Berlin Aircraft Device for his Medal of Occupation and also for the Medal of Humane Action.

I may have more documentation than the Air Force if it is true that 80% of the records were lost in a fire in St. Louis in 73.
