This book is designed to take students from complete beginners up to the equivalent of GCSE level. (This is a UK exam level usually taken by school children aged about 16). The book uses current best practice in modern teaching methods and is aimed at small classes of about a dozen students and teacher.
Many thanks to Rob Sharples for all his work over the past couple of years in creating the book content.
Accompanying the book will be a CD of audio files, which include many of the dialogues in the book. Many thanks also to Sedef, Alison, Rebecca, Peter and Darryl for their efforts in recording the dialogues.
I've been editing the recordings that our volunteers made for the CD to accompany the course book.
One of the pleasant surprises is that our Turkish student could read most of the Algilez text immediately! It seems that spoken Algilez has a strong resemblance to spoken Turkish, which I had not expected.
