Hi can anyone one give me some ideas I have to young girls working for me for 2 weeks doing work-experience they have been great sorry they have to go back to school. But does anyone have any ideals what we can give them to say thank you and well done do you pay them. would like to hear from anyone else whom have worked with work-experience.

we have the children make a handprint card and all sign it in their own fashion,and normally just buy them a box of chocs to say thankyou for coming

when I was a student and left my setting the children each drew a picture of themselves and the staff compiled it in to a little book for me. I was really touched by this and it is something that I now do for the students in my setting.
We do not pay the students we have but if they were good (and old enough) we sometimes employ them to work during the holidays.
