I am an Ex Engineering Officer Merchant Navy, the first ship I sailed on was the MV Loch Long which was the Ex Pacific Ocean owned by Tirfing Sweden. Her and her sister ship MV Atlantic Ocean both reefers, were built in Landskrona in 1962/63 for their high speed pacific/atlantic runs on citrus fruit and meat from Australia to US.
The Pacific Ocean was purchased by Denholm Ship Management in Glasgow Scotland then sold onto Greek shipping interests renamed the Poros and subsequently sold for scrap!!!!!

m/s Pacific Ocean was built 1965 delivered may month
and was NOT sistership to Atlantic Ocean,but to
m/s White Ocean and left the shipyard Öresundsvarvet
in december 1965 with myself onboard.Later I signed
off in Sydney.My next ship was m/s Pacific Ocean.The
name of the company was Oceankompaniet and/or
AB Atlanttrafik.The company was managed by Broström
and Trelleborg (later Malmros) at this time there were
9 ships,5 from Trelleborg and 4 from Broströms
