Scottish Islands Peaks Race
Wanted - Another runner to take part in the Scottish Islands Peaks Race next weekend, 16 to 19 May. If you are available and want to take part in the race then drop me an e-mail, at mikeoconnor@freeuk.com, and I'll let you have the details. I intend to travel to Oban Thursday night/early Friday morning. The race starts in Oban on Friday morning and should end at some point on Sunday in Troon. I'd be very tempted if I wasn't already in enough trouble with my better half over the WHW race.  Unfortunately, I also have no sea-legs and throw up (& worse) at the slightest provocation on sail vessels. Shame really as I love the *idea* of sailing. Oddly enough, if you weren't sailing but blasting around in a fast RIB, I'd probabaly be fine. |

I would love to do this one day. When I read about it on Marco's blog I was very jealous. I love sailing and running so it would be my idea of a great race. Sadly the dates don't work for me but one year!! Hope you find someone John |
