Marlborough Downs Challenge
Is anyone planning on running the Marlborough Downs Challenge (33 mile route) in a few weeks time? If so see you there. It is a great undulating route that takes in the chalk downland south of Swindon starting and ending at the historic town of Marlborough and passing through the ancient stone circle town of Avebury. Part of the Vasque ultra champs - www.runfurther.com (sorry Tim forgotten the syntax for linking). |

Hi Brian, I've sent you a message to your Cranfield email address. Spoke to the race organiser and he said I can get an entry on the day (provided I wear no torn 3/4 length trousers or an eye patch and leave the parrot at home). I think I might be up for it.

Aaar (I probably shouldn't say that, it'll just encourage the eyepatch wearing and parrot keeping). |

Hi Brian I am doing the Marlborough run and am looking forward to it. See you and anyone else who is doing it there. As usual I will wear the WHW buff on my wrist for ID purposes! Shirley |

Great - I might see if I can find an eyepatch, or will at least be the balding glaswegian going aar so should be recognisable. See you there! |

Hi Brian I shall be at Marlborough too, so hope to meet up with some more experienced folk. Will raid some of my 4 year olds pirate gear to try and help ID purposes. I hope the weather cools down a little as I felt baked on Sunday run. Michael |

Yes, eye patches ahoy and a lot of aaar'ing and we'll be sure to all hook up. Looking forward to it, and hoping for at little cloud cover! |
