Highland Fling

Great to see everyone (well almost everyone) looking so bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, albeit somewhat damp footed, around Conic Hill this morning. (C. Hill looking its most inviting and scenic. Not.) I hope that the person with the bloodstained white shirt (bleeding right nipple, "Ouch!") managed to alleviate the suffering. Of course you know who you are, and I will not divulge your identity.

Shortly after the Highland Fling roadshow moved on from Balmaha car park, and I was about to depart myself, a bridal wedding party rolled in in full finery prior to the knot tying ceremony. Despite my taking a photo of the blushing bride ( to accompany my pix of you lot up the hill) I was for some reason not invited along to the nuptials.

Balmaha car park ~ definitely the place to be for action today.

I hope morale remained high for the rest of everyones run / walk / crawl to Tyndum

Re: Highland Fling

Congrats to all the runners. Not the best of conditions.

Congrats to Jez (7:24) and Lucy (8:10) on fabulous new records.

It almostmakes me want to start running again.

Re: Highland Fling

I recognised you from your fellrunner magazine piece despite the rain and howling wind on Conic Hill. Nice to fleetingly make your acquaintance Murdo.

What'll you be doing with the photos you took?

Re: Highland Fling

Hi Brian. Most of my photos were a very high quality replication of the prevailing weather conditions up on Conic Hill: somewhat rain splattered, misty and out of focus. I'll send a few of the 'best'(?)ones through to Webmaster Tim on the Highland Fling website.
