Restaurant in Fort William
Hi all, I'd like to take my support crew out for dinner on the Sunday of race weekend to apologise for all I will have put them through. I ate in No4 Restaurant when I was over round Easter week and it was tasty if a little void of atmosphere(we were the only 2 in the place!). So any recommendations for somewhere serving a similar range in around that price point would be much appreciated. Best of luck to all those racing the fling at the weekend. Jeff |

There's a mexican (ish) restaurant above the Grogg and Gruel, which is ace. We went on a Sunday night and it was packed. Nice food and great atmosphere. Don't fancy your chances of getting up the stairs though

Jeff, It'll be gard to beat the Crannog Seafood Restaurant on the Pier in Fort Bill http://www.oceanandoak.co.uk/ It's pretty expensive though. It also depends upon the social make-up of your crew. We went there last year but it probably wasn't the most appropriate place to take an Anglo-Indian former Royal Marine who had been up for over 30 hours and then had spent all Sunday drinking in the Ben Nevis pub. The Mexican restaurant mentioned above is more affordable and the food is great. It's a more appropriate place for a lively bunch too. Dave
