Your efforts on the newsletter are fine - well done ! You don't need to try to be poetic, just your own authentic voice is what people want to hear. Is Bert going to write any more, or has he just stopped completely ?
Anyway - don't worry - your writing is just as interesting. No one's looking for Shakespeare !
