Susan had a souped-up MRI yesterday and we find out the results today. It's coming out, it's just a matter of whether it can be done here or in a hospital in Harrisburg 2 hours away. If it is a more routine surgery it can be done here and that is better. It means less chance of infection, faster recovery time and less pain. The recent attack passed and she is at home now with some pain killers and is on a liquid diet. She'll have to alter her diet after the surgery, too. I'll keep you posted. |
