Message:   This happened during the last 7N set on Sunday. It was Scott's idea, and was a complete hoot. He said he'd seen someone playing air 'pipes in the front row, at the Saturday night concert, I think, and decided to have a contest. It was very silly, and great fun, even for those not competing. And Kirk awarded all contestants a free cd.

They did essentially the same set all weekend, but since one of the songs was "Twelve," I wasn't complaining. There was a new song, "mountain style" according to Kirk, and it's great. It'll be on the new cd. And I recommend the Celtic Rock Tribute to The Cure, ifn you don't already have it. I don't know The Cure from Adam (or anyone else), but it's really good.

So the Games people learned that you don't schedule 7N for 10 AM, especially after a previous night's concert, but they always played to a good house. It was really nice seeing them again. Scott was very funny, and Dan was so impressed with the trailer potties (air conditioning, real toilets, nice decor) that he said he'd like to stay there, especially over their first night's accomodations. It was a very funny Sunday set.

I dint go to the concert since I was previously booked at the Kennedy Center (our condo) Dinner, which was great. I met my second cousin Oen, who's a singer-songwriter-bird impersonator and a very cool dude. I also met Ailsa Craig, Lord Charles's Private Label whisky, for my Personal Farewell to the Whisky.

All in all, a great weekend.
