Re: Lost Baby Whale

Do you think its best for it to be put down? And what about JJ? She didn't really have skills, but they released her or did she not end up well?

Re: Lost Baby Whale

I think it would be easy enough to rope this one off into a cove and hand raised until its strong enough to relased in a pod.

But that's just me... I don't like the idea of euthanizing a calf though. If it was incurable disease or a severe injury, I wouldn't have an issue... but it seems like something could be done for him...

Re: Lost Baby Whale

Something could actually be easily done. But no one is willing to band together to do anything because people are lazy. They don't want to work to help a creature unless it's them. Sad but that's how a lot of people are. Half of the people working on the issue want to, and believe, they can help this whale. The other half know it's possible, but try to come up with excuses. Thats just the conclusion I'm drawing. Seems right mostly.
