Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm angry. There are people out there that support the barbaric slaughter of baby seals. Who could agree with that? In my opinion, it should be a deadly sin. |

ugh, there almost as bad as japan, Killing them commercially. ok i can see those native eskimo dudes doing it traditionally, and despite hating seeing them die, i would hate someone trying to ban my traditions. But there is no need to kill them commercially, especially so inhumainly. |

For most Americans information, it is not "The Maritimers" who slaughter the seals. The majority of the seal hunters are from Quebec and about another 25% from St-Pierre-De-Miquelon (which is owned by France). Only about 7-8% of seal clubbers are from the actual Maritimes ( New Brunswick, PrinceEdwardIsland, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland) And for te most part, Maritimers are against it, especially when this occurs in Provincial park waters as it did this last season. Perhaps some people need a geography lesson, and I would also like to know who these Canadian Captivityophiles that Russ refers to are!!! |

Sorry about that,i misworded it.I tend to count la Gaspesie as part of the maritimes because it is on the atlantic. Also theres an island between ther and PEI thats appearenly part of Quebec. |
