Re: seaworlds new park

hmn...Since the park is going to be built in Dubai, restrictions on animals being brought in is likely to be looser (eg. Atlantis Palms 28 wild captured dolphins).

However, we all are aware of the overcrowding occuring at the Sea World parks from both dolphins and killer whales, so i have no doubt many will be sent over.

Not sure about the dolphins for Aquatica however...If im right there's only a small population at the current park, and the onlyother parks in the world to house them are in Japan, so maybe from there!

Interesting though.

Re: seaworlds new park

Dubai's Aquatica doesn't NEED commersons IMO. It needs a slide going through a pool with marine mammals. I think I read somewhere that commersons were picked to be in the park (even though they weren't the best choice because of spaz issues) was that they looked interesting and they weren't the typical dolphin. So it wouldn't surprise me if another marine mammal was used. Personally, I think that Cali Sea Lions would be awesome for that, but thats me.

And yes, Sea World Dubai will be getting animals from the other three parks.

From what I've heard, Commersons are like an ADD child on Rockstar. They are very, very energetic and have very short attention spans.

Re: seaworlds new park

Does any one know how big the pools are gonna be .. if they are sticking to the normal "seaworld" theme or going bigger , better and more extravigant? Interesting to see how this park plays out:)
