I'm proud for the first time mum! :D She is doing lovely from what I've heard. Nice way to put it....I could be rude, but that'd be cruel for my part. That's like saying...nice kid...sorry it has to live with you for the rest of its life. |

I watched the new baby be born (on the live feed of course) very good birth healthy and happy. But sad to see the whale wont see where her mother once lived like shelly said bitter sweet. |

In fact, her mothers name is Qila, and she is the first beluga born in captivity in vancouver, and the only one that has survived to adulthood. You go, baby! Lets hope her calf makes it to adulthood, she just battled an infection. |
