Re: Is their a market for ON line Psychological testing?

pan offers the finest web based "one-stop-shopping" for professional tests in 12 categories from 40+ publishers. Publishers at www.pantesting.com include The Psychological Corporation, MindGarden, Reid LondonHouse, Doug Jackson's Group Sigma (e.g., the classic PRF is online here). The content is selected by pan after rigorous vetting for psychometric quality consistent with standards set by professional associations like the American Psychological Association and the Association of Test Publishers (of which we are members). We publish the statistical and regulatory manuals and information for free. This means you can utilize well known, valid assessments depending on need and job class, and you can construct batteries of tests from multiple publishers if desired. pan is the only test publisher and distributor internationally supporting this capability, and we can readily support your proprietary tests as well.

pan also creates branded online assessment centers for clients to handle application forms, tests, timed tests, 360*s, surveys, market research, and essentially any kind of data harvesting required. We process the pre-employment skills tests, civil service exams, and all management 360*s for the Government of Canada, deliver worldwide biodata tests for Procter & Gamble's global recruitement, host re-branded assessment centers for clients including The Psychological Corporation, SHRM, Motorola University, Georgia-Pacific, U.S. Steel, Inland, Eli Lilly, and otherwise have provided state-of-the-art services and content to Global 2000 and government groups.

pan security and reliability has set the industry standard. We are the only test publisher who has received formal authorization from the U.S. Department of Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office to manage Confidential Level data for the federal government. Our 128-byte, SSL encryption model and proprietary security progams and practices are not approximated by any other online testing vendor internationally. Thus, you can be assured that your assessment data is receiving the highest levels of protection.

Please contact me with any questions such about pan or how we assist testing consultants with growing their assessment practice. All the best. Cordially, Marc

I am a psychologist and I have an interest in using online psychologicla testing as part of the services I offer on my website which I am in the process of developing.

What expereince have others had with this? Is there a market for this? I know a couple of companies who will set up this service for me, but they are expensive and I would like some idea of how much of a need for this service there is.

Thanks

Dianne
