Need help with autism and Asperger's Diagnosis
Hi, Thank you for this forum! I was wondering if you or another psychologist could diagnose Asperger's Syndrome in a 3yr old child? I have 3 boys...9, 7, and 3yrs old. My oldest was diagnosed as high functioning autistic at age 3, my 2nd one is probable ADHD but not diagnosed and my youngest fits the DSM criteria of Asperger's but we're having a hard time finding someone to do an evaluation. my son just turned 3 and yes he has it i did have to do major reserch to get the right doctor thow |

My mom should be able to tell you whatever you want to know about aspergers and autism because she has read what seems like dozens of books on aspergers she can't however tell you a dotor to get a diagnosis from. But I can tell you that if your children do have aspergers ther should be no sign untill they are in their teens. I would know because I have aspergers along with my brother, but I am valadictorien of my senior class so I don't see any problems with it ask my mom and she will give you a very prominent list of people who proboly had aspergers. |
