Antipeonage Act Website Forum

Welcome to the Antipeonage Act Website Forum.  Before you post, please consider the following issues:

1)  This is a free account.  Bravenet does not allow profanity in this type of account.  I do not know what all words are included, but if it is a vulgar term for a biological function or an act of lovemaking, you probably should not include it in your post.  I know how you feel, but please clean it up before hitting the POST button!

You might want to check your spelling and grammer too!

On this forum, SNAFU stands for Situation Normal All FOULED Up!

2) This is a public forum visible to anyone who clicks the banner link on the website.  Individual posts may show up in the search results of Google, Yahoo!, Dogpile, and other such search engines.  So if you don't want the world to know about it, please do not include it in your posts!

I will look at the messages now and then.

Please remember I do not necessarily agree with the views of the authors of posts, even if I allow them.  If I feel that a post or a string of posts is off subject, abusive, or defamatory, I will probably delete it.

This forum is visible in the United Kingdom, Australia, and other nations known for libel laws and practice somewhat different than in the United States.  What is protected by the First Amendment is not necessarily protected outside the United States.  If you are an American who lives in the US, your response to a foreign court summons can be to tell the plaintiff to bring his action in an American court.  But if you live in Britain?  Just remember what the McLibel defendants had to go through!

Keeping these considerations in mind, please enjoy this forum!

Message:   Granted it may be our fault as men for not wearing a condom or believing that the relationship will last. Suspending our licenses over child support is brutality. My license was just suspended and I am set to begin a bus driver job in the middle of next month. WHen I asked the Commissioner to release it, I was told to pay $100 per month ON TOP of my $314 per month child support payment in order to keep my license. Now I cannot even take the test for my Class B permit until I pay them $100 which I don't have because I'm not working. I think the next time I appear in court I will not stipulate to let a Commissioner hear the case but instead I will request a real judge.
