Message:   I'm working on a project where I need surface elevations at arbitrary points so I need to interpolate the SRTM data surface. Mine is a radio propagation application in PHP. Before I reinvent the wheel ... does anyone have any thoughts on where I can find any c, pascal, java even fortran; any language will do, routines to read the SRTM data and yield a height. I have learned that surface splines are good as ore others.. Actually, I can read the data .. the issues is to build a stable height interpolation module. Thanks, Peter
