Message:   The 1-arc-second data over the U.S. on the seamless server should be exactly the same as the 1-arc-second data on the ftp site. However, for 3-arc-second data there is a difference between the seamless server and the ftp site. The 3-arc-second data on the seamless server were created from the 1-arc-second data by systematic subsampling (also called thining), whereas the 3-arc-second data on the ftp site were created by averaging 1-arc-second data within a 3x3 window.
