I took him to the vets last week. He was given 2 injections, one for his immune system and the other was antibiotics. Well, he almost died-went floppy and lifeless and the vet turns round and says, "sometimes they die." Gee, that made me feel sooo much better. And if he had died???? What then? I have to go back in 14days to have the same again (apparently, the eggs will have hatched by then) and to be frank, I dont want to! He means the world to me, I am not gonna risk his life again. Also, he watered them down so much, I wonder if he got medication at all, or just water. I dont see much improvment in him. Can someone tell me if this is normal procedure???? I would have thought something else would have been more appropriate, like a spray/something to dilute in his water.... Anyway, I'm not impressed and feel at a loss as to what to do for him?    |
