Sorry to hear you're having such troubles with your school, but I can't say I'm surprised. Many parents on our list have gone through hell and back trying to get services for their kids. If you want to get on the list, just go to www.mothersfromhell2.org and click to join, it only costs $10. But this will give you access to the listserv and our quarterly newsletter. But if joining is not something you want to do right now, you might get some answers on these boards.
But check around locally. I'm guessing there are other parents in your area who are going through what you are. Finding them, however, is not always easy. Contact your local center for independent living to see if they have or know of any support groups or special ed advocacy groups. You can find your CIL at
http://www.ilru.org/html/publications/directory/index.html. You can also start your own support group. Put an ad in the classifieds. Some papers list support groups for free as a public service. Your local United Way might have some some groups listed. Talk to your kids' pediatrician for resources.
