Welcome to our site! I'm sorry to hear of your troubles with the school. While I've never gotten to the complaint stage with my school, many parents on our listserv have. I can tell you that you need to be very specific in your complaint and it should focus on your child. But if you know of other parents with the same complaints, it might be worth your time to band together and contact the Office for Civil Rights and see if you can catch their interest. No promises on any action from them, but schools generally don't like to be put under any type of scrutiny. A good website to check out is www.wrightslaw.com. Tons of info on there.
