Weird **** here. Like some ****ed combination of feedback laden drone and distressed power electronics... but not really at all like that. These guys just won't stop until everything is covered in blankets of fuzz,feedback and anger. A live show recorded on Halloween 2005, it's a ripper beginning to end... and they probably played the show in giant inflatable bags... cause they do that sometimes.

Since moving to Portland anyone who has a clue about noise here has asked me about Jason Zeh once discovering my Ohio nativeness. The guy is a killer and thankfully the word is spreading. Here Zeh takes field recordings taken from around his Toledo area home and creates a vast soundtrack of hums and buzzes with the occasional tape deck vomit and panning puke.

Everything Ultra//Vires does is heavy as a brick laden ****. This is no exception. Molested guitar feedback and industrial grime tones from this Dayton duo who have become an Art Damage regular and a favorite of mine. Rust belt noise with social problems, I highly recommend tracking down their other home made cdrs as well.

Antennae Boy is the recorded friendship between Matthew (Yes,Collapse, Teeth Collection) and Eli. They've been recording as Antennae Boy since they first met several years ago. An intimidating pile of 4 track tapes and years later and we finally have their first release. This release features their friend ROM on saxophone, Eli on stand up bass and effects and Matthew on processing and effects. 6 tracks of spaced out electro-acoustic synthetic improvisation. Lots of space and rot. Look for a number of Antennae Boy releases in the future as they continue to record and dig through their massive back catalog. Limited to 30 copies in translucent white bags with wax stamps on the front with, again, almost no information whatsoever.

New cassette of some older Teeth Collection jams. One is a tape loop on meltdown pure gross affair with untimely chimes and grit. Other two are anything but serene tracks of Matthew testing the limits of his unholy filter setup. Swirls of tone and gut busting bellow sway and in and out of the tape hiss murk. Limited to 30 copies with absolutely no information whatsoever. Wrapped and tied in homemade "bark" looking paper.

Ultra//Vires are a duo who have created their own blasphemic combination of delay ridden crust noise, power electronics and doomy sludge. Sometimes they play brutal electronics, others they play ****** to **** drums and bass. Here they give us one long track of thunderous scrap scrapes, walls of static and pulsed out sound garbage, the true sounds of discontent. Yes,Collapse give us 4 new improv pieces that range the gamut of tribal metal beatings, to no-wave guitar meanderings, to epic industrial noise. Perhaps the last release for Y,C featuring this line up and instrumentation, but hints at the direction they are moving in. Limited to 88 copies. Silkscreened and photocopied artwork in a jewel case.
