Dutch guide in Fermont--- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- Replying to: For the past few years I have been dilligently browsing throught the three volumes of "Hommes et Ouvrages" and have found these as comprehensive as anything I have seen. I have gradually built up my French vocabulary and can now get a pretty good understanding of the text. That being said, from time to time I run across terms that I cannot find. The latest are as follows - Hors Rang - these troops appear to be part of HQ with various logistic responsibilities, but I have not found an translation. Also, it appears that many RIFs have CEFV as part of there force structure, but I have not found an explanation as to their purpose and what the term means in English. If anyone can help out, I sure would appreciate it.
