As I was looking through the family information on my Grandfather's side, I don't see how Wiley could have been James Wesley. My Grandfather told me that Wiley Manon Stamper is really James Wesley Stamper but that can't be because on the 1870 Census KY Letcher Co Whitesburg P.O. M593 Roll 481 page 407 lines 11-18, it shows Isom age 61, Sarah age 63, Sarah age 33, Elizabeth age 31, Lenvill age24, WESLEY age 22, Mary age 20 and JAMES age 17.
I just wanted to correct my eariler statement.
