Hi from Oklahoma City. I am daughter of James (Snook)and Reecy Hudson. Dad' grandmother was Cynthia Haynes Hudson married to my great grandfather Coley Hudson. Cynthia's mother was Malinda married to James B. Stamper(his 5th wife)
I recently received a picture of Cynthia just a couple of months before she died in 1946.
Old tales from the family that she was Indian; even heard she told she was stolen by the Indians.
As her family was from NC, could we have Indian descent (Cherokee)? Anything appreciated!!! |
