Message:   I am looking for anyone who is connected to Enoch Watts. Since he married Evoline Stamper, there surely is someone out there who knows a little something.

Enoch was married to Rebecca Amburgey first, making them my GGGrandparents, and they had several daughters, Mary "Polly" was my GGrandmother. She must have been a very "popular" lady as she was married 3 or 4 times, one being my Great Grandfather Harvey Sizemore. Any story would not surprize me at this point. I would love to know anything anyone may be able to share with me. I know there was a picture of Enoch and Evoline on I think, Steven Bowling's website, if I have the name right.

The picture of Enoch looks very "Native American". Does anyone know if he was and if so what tribe and how much blood? I only want to know this because I was always told my Grandma Nancy Sizemore had Indian blood. I have searched and since I live in FT Worth, I've been and will go again to the archives and search the rolls. I have found a Mary Watts in the rolls, Creek I think, and Mary was Enoch's mother's name, but I don't know if it's the same person. "Into the West" really got me stirred up about our "Native American" ancestors and I would be proud to be linked with one.

Sooooo, I sure hope to hear from all you folks that either live in or somehow came from "Breathitt county" My Mom was born in Jackson. Thanks for the opportunity to post.
Regards,
Barbara
