Notes for REV. JOHN HENRY ARROWOOD:
Minister of the Old Regular Baptist Church of Jesus Christ, joined the church July 1910 and was ordained in 1927. He was elected assistant moderator the same year and was a clerk for the Mountain Association for about 33 years.
The funeral was held at the Old Regular Baptish Church in Canoe, KY at 11:30a.m. Saturday, Oct 10 with Rev. Jefferson Turner and Robert Herald.
Family lived house #21 John B. Lewis Precinct, Breathitt County in 1910; house #99-102 Arrowood Fork Road, off Canoe, Breathitt Co., in 1920.
On John H. Arrowood headstone it has him born Mar. 21, 1885 and died Oct. 8, 1970 "JUST ASLEEPING". He is buried in his grandfather's cemetery (Nathen Arowood).
