I have always been curious as to how many main family lines the Stamper name originated from in America. My grandmother, Margaret Tarlton (Stamper) has traced our fathers to John and Mary Stamper of Middlesex Co, VA circa 1630's. My immediate family is from the Rowan Co, NC area. Edward Earl (Dot) Stamper is my grandfather, but I am do not know any names before that in any detail. I have never really been around the Stamper family growing up, but would love to find and meet more of my relatives.
