I have just begun to trace the Sams family tree.
My father was Robert E. Sams (1921-1995), the son of Monroe Sams(d.1956?) and Joanna Stamper(b.1897) of Kentucky.
Joanna's parents were Peter Stamper (1855-1911) and his second wife Mary Isabelle. There were 8 childrens and 2 half siblings.
Peter's parents were Lewis A. and Jane Mays.
Do any of you have family connections to any of the above people?
