Casting - Experiemental Film - Austin
Lo Que Daria Por Volver is an experimental visual/live performance exploration on the concept of home and the primal state of being. I am looking for a strong actor with developed skills for improvisation, Male, between the ages of 25 to 32; White or Black-American to take on one of the lead roles. The LQDPV project is divided in three different stories; the story that this particular actor would be leading is called "Case Study #2 Bryan." Bryan is the average late twenties/early thirties man. He is in that period of life where everything seems so final. He wonders if that master plan will ever really happen, while in the meantime he must satisfy the standards imposed by society to avoid being labeled a loser. This story is to be shot in Video in a documentary/narrative style. It will be non paid, and it will require at least 4 days for rehearsal. Rehearsing will be crucial in order to really nail the character in question. Lo Que Daria Por Volver was awarded this year a TFPF award (given by the Austin Film Society). It is also the final project (Thesis) to finish my undergraduate degree in RTF at the University of Texas.
