Reel Women Workshop - Scheduling & Budgeting (Austin)
Reel Women Workshop: Production Scheduling and Budgeting presented by Susan Kirr WHEN: Sat Dec 1, 1 – 4 PM WHERE: Austin Film Works (701 Tillery, Suite A-7) COST: $25 for Reel Women & Austin Film Society members / $40 for the general public INFO: www.reelwomen.org Your script is the blueprint for your film. Your budget is the blueprint for how you will most efficiently get the money you have up on the screen. How do you budget a film? We'll discuss building a schedule and then using the schedule to build the budget. We'll also touch on working with the various unions (SAG, WGA, DGA, IATSE and Teamsters) and making the best deals to stretch your dollar. Although the workshop will be geared toward feature film budgets, many of the concepts discussed will also be applicable to shorts and documentaries. Ongoing Q&A throughout the workshop, so bring all your questions! |
