Regional Finals 2006
Well done to all the athletes that participated. The Under 15 Girls are through to the Nationals with Emma Komocki winning the All-rounder competition. Derbyshire were so strong in this age group they actually took the top 5 placing in the all-rounder competition. Ed Mourbey and Matt Wilson took 2nd and 3rd positions in the U15B competition. U13B, U13G and U15B age groups all finished runners-up. Thank you to all the Derbyshire volunteers who helped officiate on the day, and fellow team managers Kim Bannon, Phil Wellor and Ben Mourbey. Special mention for athlete U13G Jodie Wills who helped an ailing team mate by sacrificing her event (and probable medal)to help the cause of the team. Well done everybody. We hope you enjoyed yourself. |
