National Sportshall Final
Very special congratulations to all who took part in the Sportshall Finals at the NIA, Birmingham on Sunday 20th March. I think that everyone had a great time and some considerable success. The under 13 Girls were superb when finishing 3rd in the UK - well done to each and every one of you. The under 15 boys encountered some very strong opposition in their Final. Two of Sportshall's greatest successful athletes were at the Finals - Mark Lewis-Francis(Olympic gold medalist and European Indoor silver medalist) and Kelly Sotherton (Olympic bronze and European Indoor silver medalist). Seeing MLF made Kim Bannon's day!!! Everyone who was at the NIA went home with a huge smile on their faces. From DCAA Committee we should also record a huge thank you to the Team Managers on the day Kim Bannon, Mick Bannon and Nigel Smith. Well done everyone. |
